Booking information

Your selected offer contains the applicable conditions

This page explains where to look for booking information; it does not replace the contract or cancellation terms provided by Localrent and the vehicle supplier. Review those conditions before paying and keep the confirmation.

Dates, locations and drivers

Use the actual collection and return dates, times and locations. Check the age, licence and document requirements for the named driver. Additional drivers must be accepted and recorded as required by the agreement.

Payments and security

The advance, collection balance, security deposit and insurance excess are different figures. A no-deposit offer has a zero security amount as stated in its conditions; it does not automatically remove the other payments or contractual responsibilities. Check accepted methods for each payment.

Cancellation and amendments

Check the cancellation deadline, applicable charges and request procedure in the actual offer. Free cancellation is not guaranteed for every vehicle or every time of cancellation. If an optional cancellation product is offered, read its scope separately.

Request changes through the contact in your booking confirmation. Changes to dates, locations, vehicle or drivers may require approval and a revised price. Keep the written confirmation rather than assuming that a message alone completes the amendment.

Late arrival and missed collection

If the flight or arrival plan changes, contact the supplier or booking support using the instructed channel. Do not assume an automatic extension of the collection appointment or that the no-show conditions are waived.

During the rental and return

Follow the permitted use, fuel and reporting conditions. Ask about mainland travel or any unusual journey before booking. Return at the agreed place and time, allow for inspection and retain the completion record.
